W.M.P. No.11250 of 2021 in W.P.No. 8868 of 2021 V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.

This Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to amend the cause title in the Writ Petition.

2. Earlier, this Court by an order dated 08.04.2021 directed the 3rd respondent Tahsildar, Attur, to conduct enquiry and to pass suitable orders within a period of eight weeks.

3. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, Mr.A.E.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that, now the Salem District has been bifurcated and the disputed area comes under the jurisdiction of Tahsildar, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District. Hence, the cause title may be amended and the Tahsildar, Thalavaisal Taluk, Salem District may be directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, and being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed.

5. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title and issue fresh order copy.
