By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner application dated 13.07.2016, and consequently, issue patta in favour of the petitioner in new Survey No.66/1A3 and Survey No.67/2C Seevaram Village, Chennai within a period stipulated by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has applied for patta to the respondent on 13.07.2016 through On line in respect of the property in New Survey No.66/1A3 and Survey No.67/2C Seevaram Village, Chennai. Since no action has been taken on the same, the petitioner is before this Court with this Writ Petition.

Considering the limited prayer made in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion regarding the merit of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the

respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 13.07.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
