ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent/contemnor.

Learned Government Advocate who appears for the respondent has produced the proceedings of the Collectorate, Vellore https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 24.06.2016 in Na.Ka.P2/8566/2016 and would submit that the order passed by this Court has been complied with. Though the said fact has been seriously disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that in exercise of contempt jurisdiciton, it cannot test the legality or otherwise of the order passed by the Collectorate,Vellore.

Hence, the contempt petition is closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order before the competent Forum, if he is so advised.
