Heard Mr.D.Rajagopal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner ; Mr.Ananthamurthy, learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 2nd respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to issue No Objection Certificate to the petitioner's property bearing Survey No.299/8 and 9 in Patta no.1161, Plot No.1 with an extent of 1298 sqft of M.K.Nagar, 1st Main Road, No.17, Keelkattalai Village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to register the sale deed in respect of the above said property. has submitted a representation on 01.04.2014 to the 1st respondent herein and till date, no action has been taken by the 1st respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3.Learned Government Advocate on instructions would submit that reasonable time may be granted to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation 01.04.2014.
4.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
