O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass an order to take action based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 24.11.2014.

2.On a perusal of the representation dated 24.11.2014, it could be seen that the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of the patta issued by the respondent in favour of some third parties. Earlier, the petitioner has also given a similar representation dated 24.04.2013 seeking for cancellation of the patta issued in favour of some third parties. When the respondent had issued the patta, the remedy open to the petitioner seeking to cancel the patta is only by way of an appeal under Section 12 of the Patta Pass Book Act. In such circumstances, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition cannot be granted.

3.In such view of the matter, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
