O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to give necessary direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No. 31 of 2020 and to file final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Criminal Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondents had registered a case in the above said crime number on 27.01.2020, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one month.

5. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
