This petition has been filed to provide police protection to the petitioner on her representation dated 16.07.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is doing construction business and some local rowdy elements are demanding mamool from the builder. The petitioner has sent the complaint by post.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a complaint in person and the same shall be enquired into and take action in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
