ORDER

The writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission in view of the limited prayer sought in the writ petition for disposal of the appeal dated 03.05.2017 pending before the second respondent.

2.The issue in this writ petition is with regard to the rival claims between the petitioner and the fourth respondent in regard to the subject property. It appears that on the basis of the request, the third respondent passed an order by changing the revenue records in the name of the fourth respondent by proceedings dated 11.04.2017. Against the order passed by the third respondent, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the second respondent on 03.05.2017 within a stipulated time. Notice was issued in the appeal. Though the appeal was preferred as early as 03.05.2017, the same has not been disposed of till date.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal within a time frame. 4.At this, Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 stated that he would not have objection if a limited direction is issued by this Court for disposal of the appeal.

5.In the said circumstances, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal said to have been preferred by the petitioner on 03.05.2017 against the order of the third respondent dated 11.04.2017, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
