Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's husband-detenu viz.,Kamaraj, S/o Govindasamy, aged 45, who is now detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli before this Court, calling for the records of the detention order passed by the first respondent vide Memo No.Cr.M.P.No.33/2020 dated 12.05.2020 and set aside the same and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No.Cr.M.P.No.33/2020, dated 12.05.2020, detaining her husband passed under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2920 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 06.07.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
