This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.654 of 2011 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Avinasipalayam Police Station, Tiruppur District, insofar as it relates to the petitioner herein. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had died on 22.01.2016 and in view of the above, the allegation against the petitioner abates.
