O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the matter and register the case against the said Mahalingam in accordance with law on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 06.05.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint, the dispute essentially appears to be between the tenant and landlord with regard to the non- refund of advance. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to register the case and the petition is closed with liberty given to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
