The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2024.

2. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent states that it is a landlord-tenant dispute. Both the landlord as well as Tenant has given the complaint. The petitioner herein is the landlord. Pursuant to the complaint, the police wants the presence of the petitioner for enquiry.

3. In the light of the above facts, the petitioner shall not be called to the police station without following procedure established under law and only on summons, the petitioner be called and the enquiry to be conducted in consonance with the law.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
