ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 02.06.2015 in CSR.No.160 of 2015 and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it is seen that during the pendency of divorce proceedings, the complainant's husband married for the second time. Since, offence under Section 494 IPC for bigamy is non-cognizable, no positive direction can be issued.

4. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
