This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 01.04.2016 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.
3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor [Pondy] submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending.
4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in [2014] 2 SCC 1, otherwise close the complaint under intimation to the petitioner.
