(The Order of the Court was made by R.Subbiah,J) The present Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records and to quash G.O.(Ms).No.305, dated 17.06.2020, Revenue and Disaster Management (DM-II) Department and G.O.Ms.No.299 of 2020, dated 16.06.2020, Revenue and Disaster Management (DM-II) Department.

2. This Court, in the matter relating to the very same Revenue and Disaster Management Department, in an almost similar nature of prayer made in the present Writ Petition, had dismissed W.P.No.8276 of 2020, by order dated 17.06.2020, with costs of Rs.50,000/- payable by the petitioner therein to the Honourable Chief Justice Relief Fund, observing that the imposition of the lock down or relaxing the lock down, is a matter to be decided by the instrumentalities of the Government by taking note of various factors and the ground realities.

3. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner has claimed that he is only challenging the above said G.Os., he has not made any tangile grounds in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition. The affidavit is bereft of particulars, with bald and vague statements with only few lines. It is now surprising to note as to how such a Writ Petition can be filed by the petitioner before this Court, that too, to quash the said G.Os.

4. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed at the threshold. No costs. Connected W.M.Ps. are closed..
