Prayer : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent for his willful and flagrant violation of the order dated 06.08.2014 made in M.P.No.2 of 2014 in W.P.No.21011 of 2014 passed by this Court.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court, in M.P.No.2 of
2014, dated 06.08.2014, the petitioner was allowed to continue in service till the expiry of the contract period and accordingly the petitioner continued in service and wages as applicable was also paid to the petitioner. 2.Thus, this Court is of the opinion that further continuance of the contempt petition is unnecessary. The issues raised in the writ petition can be adjudicated at the time of final hearing of the writ petition and in respect of the Contempt petition, no further adjudication is required.
3.Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. However there shall no order as to costs. The writ petition may be posted for final disposal after two weeks.
