Heard Mr.L.Ramanathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.
2. This revision petition is filed seeking a direction to early Page No.1/4
disposal of a suit in O.S.No.40 of 2020 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsiff at Nagapattinam within a time stipulated by this Court.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent/plaintiff has filed a suit in O.S.No.40 of 2020 against the petitioner/defendant seeking for a permanent injunction. The petitioner herein is the landlord of the schedule property, where the respondent is residing. According to the petitioner, the respondent is residing in the schedule property as a lessee as there is no blood relationship between the petitioner and the respondent. The petitioner said to have filed the written statement on 10.12.2021 along with counter claim seeking for a direction to the respondent/plaintiff to vacate the schedule property and pay the damages for use and occupation of the schedule of property.
4. Considering the nature of the suit and also other grounds set forth by the petitioners, this civil revision petition is disposed of directing the learned Principal District Munsiff Judge, Nagapattinam to dispose of O.S.No.40 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, not later than eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
