Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner was appointed as Sales Woman in the year 1985 in Perundurai Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society as temporary employee and her service has been regularized. Now the petitioner is working as Clerk for the past 35 years and till now her promotion was not considered. Therefore, she filed a revision petition before the first respondent and the first respondent issued notice to the petitioner to appear for an enquiry to be conducted on 11.06.2019. Even though the notice was issued for personal hearing and conducted on 09.05.2019, there is no further progress. Therefore, again she made a representation on 10.01.2021, to the first respondent / Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies to consider the representation and enquire into the matter and give a reply to the petitioner. It is to be noted that revision petition is pending before the first respondent and he issued notice for hearing on 12.07.2019, which is also still pending. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the limited prayer, without going to the merits of the case, a direction is given to the second respondent / Deputy Registrar, to dispose of the representation dated 10.01.2020 and a direction is given to the first respondent / Joint Registrar, to pass appropriate orders in the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
