ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register a case on the complaint dated 04.07.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 04.07.2016, given by the petitioner against her husband, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.110 of 2016, and that the Police have referred the complaint to the Social Welfare Officer, Vellore, for enquiry and report.

4. On receipt of the report from the Social Welfare Officer, the respondent Police is directed to take action in accordance with law.
