ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 31.05.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. On a reading of the complaint dated 31.05.2015, it is alleged that one Sridhar, who was working as a Manager in the Finance Company, that was run by the petitioner's father, threatened the petitioner with dire consequences on 30.05.2015.
4. According to the petitioner, a complaint was given to the local Police, but no action was taken. The present complaint dated 31.05.2015 has been sent by post to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Home Secretary, Director General of Police and Commissioner of Police.
5. Under Section 154 Cr.P.C., the duty is cast upon the jurisdictional Station House Officer to register a case, if the complaint discloses commission of cognizable offence. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
6. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
