The respondent in HMOP No.98/2013 on the file of the Sub Court, at Vellore, is the petitioner in this Transfer Petition. The petitioner is a resident of Chennai. The respondent initiated proceedings for divorce before the Sub Court, Vellore. According to the petitioner, it would be very difficult for her to appear before the Court at Vellore, as her residence is at Chennai.
The learned counsel for the respondent fairly submitted that the respondent has no objection for transfer of the proceedings to a Court at Chennai.

In the result, the proceedings in HMOP No.98/2013 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub Court, Vellore and is transferred to the file of the Family Court, at Chennai, for disposal.
