ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL,J.) There is no representation on the side of the Petitioner. However, on the side of the Respondent, the Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is present.
2.Today, the Respondent/Inspector of Police, C2,Periyapalayam Police Station, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District, has produced the Detenu/Petitioner's daughter, viz., M.Lavanya, aged about 19 years, before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.This Court, on interaction with the Petitioner's daughter/Detenue, viz., M.Lavanya, is able to ascertain that she belongs to Adi Dravidar (Scheduled Caste) and that her husband, viz., Subramani, belongs to Backward Community and her date of birth is 20.12.1999. Further, she had stated that she got married with her husband-Subramani on 22.4.2018 at Thiruverkadu Ammann Temple and before that she developed acquaintance with her husband-Subramani and later, got married to him. Now, she along with her husband, are staying in her husband's grandmother-Keerthana's house at 'E' Block, No.239, MMDA Colony, Arumbakkam, Chennai-106. The Detenue-Lavanya's husband is reportedly working as a Painter and earning Rs.750/- per day. The parents of the Lavanya's husband-Subramani are residing at Periyapalayam.
4.Considering the fact that the Petitioner's daughterM.Lavanya is a major and she had married one Subramani, on 22.04.2018 and now she is residing with her husband in her husband's grandmother's house at 'E' Block, No.239, MMDA Colony, Arumbakkam, Chennai-106, this Court is of the considered view that the Detenue-M.Lavanya is a person who can take her own further course of action as per her desire and will. With the above observation, this Court closes the present Habeas Corpus Petition as nothing survives for further adjudication.
