ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on on 04.03.2021 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148 and 302 of IPC in Crime No.111 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity the defacto complainant brother namely Shanmugamoorthy was assaulted by the petitioner with knife and he died on the spot itself. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has assaulted the deceased with knife, due to which the deceased died on the spot itself. She further submits that the co-accused is still absconding. Hence she vehemently oppose to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the grave nature of the offences and the fact that the co-accused is still absconding, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
