Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce the body of detenue Arulsamy S/o.Salaman aged 43 years is detained at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli before this Court, call for the records of detention order passed by the first respondent vide Memo No.Cr.M.P.No.34 of 2020 dated 12.05.2020 set aside the same and set the detenue Arulsamy S/o.Salaman aged 43 years at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Cr.M.P.No.34 of 2020 dated 12.05.2020 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2921 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 06.07.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
