Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 5th respondent impugned letter No.Asst.E/O&M/T.Code/C.ind/A.

No.147/2020 dated 23.04.2020 and quash the same and directing the respondents to receive the petitioner's application to continue the tariff LA3A2 for 12KW instead of IIIB for

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned letter issued by the 5th respondent dated 23.04.2020 and for a consequential direction to reduce the load to 12 KW and assess the tariff under LA3A2. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to the 5th respondent to consider the representation dated 29.04.2020, wherein the petitioner has requested for changing the load from 14 KW to 12 KW. 3.Heard Mr.S.Kolandasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Damodaran, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Electricity Board.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 5th respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 29.04.2020, wherein he is seeking for changing the load from 14 KW to 12 KW and assessment of the tariff under LA3A2 and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
