Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to expedite the hearing of the Revision Petition dated 02.03.2017 filed by the petitioner against the proceedings of the 2nd respondent, pending on the file of the 1st respondent and intimated to the petitioner vide Letter No.G1/5977/2017 dated 29.08.2017 and to dispose of the same within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said revision has not been disposed of so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 1st respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the Revision Petition dated 02.03.2017 filed by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
