Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 08.02.2016 for selection and appointment to the post of ITI Helper Trainee based on the marks secured by the petitioner (79.57) marks in the selection conducted by the respondents for direct recruitment 2012-2014 and to issue order of allotment for ITI Helper Trainee within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The petitioner claims to have undergone the process of selection and also the further interview conducted for the post of I.T.I. Helper Trainee, since he was sponsored by the employment exchange, based on which he was issued with the letter to attend the interview in the month of November, 2013. It is also claimed that he was awarded with 65.57 marks for educational qualification and 14 marks for interview, thus https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

totalling to 79.57 marks. But his grievance is that as per the proceedings dated 7.1.2016 issued by the Chief Engineer (Personnel), Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited, the candidates belonging to MBC category securing lesser marks than 79.57 marks secured by the petitioner has been selected. Therefore, he has given a representation dated 8.2.2016 and the same having not been considered, has come to this Court seeking a direction to consider the same.

2. Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer, hereby directs the respondents to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
