Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the arrears of last drawn wages and from 23.04.2018 to 30.09.2019 and to pay the monthly salary from 01.10.2019 and continue to pay the same within the time stipulated and pass such further orders.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to prosecute the claim petition, which was already filed under Section 33C(2) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, Chennai, and he also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

2. In view of the submission coupled with the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to the petitioner to prosecute the claim petition already filed before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, Chennai. No costs.
