The prayer sought for in the present petition is to quash the charge sheet in S.C.No.25/2016 in Crime No.1 of 2015 pending before the Mahila Court, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram on the basis of this compromise the petitioner moved this petition for quashing charge sheet.

2. It is submitted that, pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves.

3. In order to identify the petitioners and the defacto complainant, they have submitted the photo copies of their Aadhar Cards viz.,1.Devendran-590328538093, 2.Nalini832419797393 and after verification of the original, the same are recorded.

4. Today, an Affidavit filed before this Court on 12.01.2018 was also filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant to the effect that she has no objection to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1 of 2015 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

5. Recording the same, the proceedings in Crime No. 1 of 2015 pending on the file of the first respondent police is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.

6. The Affidavit filed before this Court by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant dated 12.01.2018 shall form part of the order.
