O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the Patta in the name of the petitioner. But, it is seen from the typed set of papers available in the affidavit that the petitioner's application was rejected by the Tahsildar on 08.06.2017. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to challenge the said order before appropriate Appellate Authority namely the Revenue Divisional Officer. Without doing so, the petitioner cannot seek for a mandamus as sought for in this writ petition.

2. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, by giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order before the Appellate Authority in a manner known to law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
