ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction not to insist the petitioners to withdraw the complaint in Crime No.7 of 2019 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women's Police Station, Hosur, Krishnakiri District. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the first petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police for missing of his daughter Deepa and the same has been registered in Crime No.7 of 2019 under the caption of Girl missing. Thereafter the petitioners came to know that the said Deepa married one Ajay Kumar and leading https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the matrimonial life with him. When the same was came to the knowledge of the respondent police, they did not take any action in respect of the complaint and keep its pending. In the mean time, the respondent starts threatening to withdraw the compliant and compel to made endorsement or else they will file a case against the third petitioner. Hence the petitioners approached this Court with this petition. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the police never called the petitioners to withdraw the case in Crime No.7 of 2019 and it is pending for investigation.

4. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police.

Under such circumstances, the respondent is directed not to insist the petitioners to withdraw their complaint in Crime No.7 of 2019 and directed to complete the investigation and file final report within the period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
