Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 1st respondent in G.O.(D) No.128, Home (Pol.XIII) Department, dated 02.02.2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to grant of S.B.B.L. (Single Barrel Breach Loading) Gun license for petitioner Crop Production and also for his self protection from wild animals based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 18.11.2013.

O R D E R

The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a certiorarified mandamus quashing the order of the 1st respondent in G.O.(D) No.128, Home (Pol.XIII) Department, dated 02.02.2018 as illegal and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to grant S.B.B.L. (Single Barrel Breach Loading) Gun license for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

protecting the petitioner and his crops from wild animals, based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 18.11.2013. 2.Today, when this writ petition was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to efflux of time, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous. However, he sought liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned afresh, if required.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the authority concerned, with a fresh application, if required. On such application being made, the authority concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
