COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 02.04.2022 for grant of assignment of lands in their favour of the property ad-measuring about 0.157 Cents, comprised in Survey No.4/2 each situated at Koppam Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District. 2.
Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in these petitions, on the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, these petitions are taken up for final disposal.

The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the owners of the property comprised in Survey No.4/2, to an extent of 0.157 cents each, situated at Koppam Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District Thereafter, the petitioners made representations, dated 02.04.2022 for assignment of patta in their favour in terms of landless poor category. However, till date, no order has been passed on the same. Hence, these present petitions are filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 02.04.2022 and may pass appropriate orders in terms of Revenue Standing Order 15, within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 5.
The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, would submit that the representation made by the petitioners will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits within the time frame to be fixed by this court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 02.04.2022 and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, strictly in accordance with the Revenue Standing Order 15, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
