PETITION under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondents herein and punish them for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 14.12.2015 passed in W.P.No.39150 of 2015.

ORDER

Mr.Alayamani, Block Development Officer, Perambalur is present in Court.

2. The dispute involves a bus stand, which has been constructed on the outer wall of the petitioner's house and one of the windows from the bed rooms opens into the bus stand.

3. The Block Development Officer, who is present in court, states that the petitioner has constructed his house without leaving any side set back.

4. The fact remains that both the house and the bus stand have been there for over 25 years. The Block Development Officer is ready and willing to create a gap between the bus stand and the petitioner's house. It appears that the petitioner did not agree to such a suggestion.

5. However, today, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the Block Development Officer may effect certain alterations, so that the bus stand wall does not touch the petitioner's building.

6. The above exercise shall be completed within three months from today.

7. With the above direction, the above contempt petition is closed.
