[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce Palanisamy Nadar, aged about 75 years, husband of the petitioner herein before this Court and set him at liberty, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. The detenu is missing for more than a decade. The petitioner, is the wife of the detenu. In fact he is missing from the year 2008 onwards. A case has also been registered in Crime No. 326 of 2018.

3. Thus, there is no point in keeping this petition pending any longer and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed, however, with a direction to the second respondent to proceed with the investigation and as and when the detenu is secured, he shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
