No.7232 of 2023 i.e., the petitioner shall report and sign before the respondent police station daily at 10.30am for 15 days.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/accused, to set aside the impugned order dated 13.03.2025 passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore in 1/4

Crl.MP.No.1534 of 2025 in Crl.MP.No.7232 of 2023, refusing to permit the petitioner to travel abroad between 02.04.2025 and 07.04.2025 on the ground that the petitioner is accused in two cases.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is required to travel abroad on account of his business commitments and that the petitioner has filed an affidavit dated 27.03.2025 mentioning the date of leaving as 02.04.2025 and returning as 07.04.2025.

3. Heard, Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. The VISA produced by the petitioner shows that he has a valid VISA to stay in Japan for 15 days.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to permit the petitioner to travel abroad from 02.04.2025 to 07.04.2025. 2/4

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered as follows:

(i) The affidavit filed by the petitioner dated 27.03.2025, is taken on record;

(ii) The petitioner shall travel abroad from 02.04.2025 to 07.04.2025; and (iii) On return from abroad, the petitioner shall appear before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, on 09.04.2025 and report compliance. 28.03.2025 Issue order copy today ars To
