By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Village Administrative Officer on 25.03.2013 and posted to Asur Village, Kumbakonam Taluk and thereafter transferred to Baburajapuram on 01.08.2016. The petitioner further averred that her native place is Theni District and her husband is working as a Worker in a Tea Estate at Theni and her parents are also residing there and therefore, she submitted a representation in the year 2014 praying for transfer to any one of the place in Theni District and she was informed that the vacancies were not available. is the specific case of the petitioners that 14 persons who were similarly placed who were working in Madurai, Villupuram, Thanjavur, Ariyalur, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Thiruppur, Nagapattinam, Trichy respectively were transferred and accommodated in Theni District in 2015-2016 and in this regard, she has also submitted a representation dated 20.01.2017 to the 1st respondent through proper channel. Since no orders have been passed, she came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 1st respondent to act on the proposal sent by the 2nd respondent based on the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner through the respondents 2 and 3.
