Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to release the family pension P.P.O. No.48214 of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited dated 31.05.2003 in her favour.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband worked as Line Inspector in Gummidipoondi Branch of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and he expired on 15.07.2011. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted representation dated 28.11.2011 to the respondents seeking family pension by enclosing the relevant documents, however, her claim has not yet been considered.
4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2011 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
