Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct "Aadaludan Paadal" cultural programme in connection with the Mariamman Muthalamman Temple festival in Narimedu Village, Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri District, between 9.00 p.m. On 23.6.2015 and 1.00 a.m. On 24.6.2015 and between 9.00 p.m. On 24.6.2015 and 1.00 a.m. On 25.6.2015 as per the petitioner's representation dated 19.6.2015.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be one of the organisars of temple festival of Arulmighu Mariamman Muthalamman Temple, Narimedu, Kaveripattinam, Krishnagiri District, and according to him, in connection with the temple festival, they have arranged a cultural programme on 23.6.2015, which includes song and dance programme, and in that regard, submitted an application dated 19.6.2015, seeking appropriate permission to conduct the said programme, and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mrs.R.Meenal, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, who would submit that the temple festival is going to commence on 22.6.2015, and the cultural programme is scheduled to be held on 23.6.2015, and in the event of permission being granted, there will not be vulgarity or obscenity in the said programme and there will not be any law and order problem also and hence, prays for appropriate orders. 4.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of all the respondents, also.

5.This Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated 19.6.2015, in accordance with law, on or before 21.6.2015, and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
