ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits namely EPF Employee's

Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Leave and Commutation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The respondent may examine the service register of the petitioner and if the payments had been paid with delay, the respondent must pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
