Respondents Prayer:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of writ of Mandamus (i) directing the respondents No. 1 to 5 to conduct enquiry and initiate criminal prosecution against Mr.Giri Raj and Mr.Kiran Kumar in respect of obtaining legal heir certificate No. TN7202111181416 dated 24.11.2021 by providing false information and playing fraud upon the Government authorities, based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2024 (ii) to direct the first to fifth respondents to forthwith cancel the legal heir certificate No. TN-7202111181416 dated 24.11.2021, issued by the fifth respondent, which was obtained by Mr.Giri Raj and Mr.Kiran Kumar by providing false information and playing fraud upon the Government authorities, based on petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2024.

O R D E R
With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, Mr.U.Baranidharan, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the enquiry has already been conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer. The enquiry has been undertaken pursuant to the Government Order issued in G.O.(Ms)No.478, Revenue and Disaster Management dated 29.09.2022.
Since the enquiry has already been completed and the final order is to be passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, this Court is inclined to direct the Revenue Divisional Officer/4th respondent to pass orders on merits and in accordance with the law, as expeditiously as possible. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
