ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, seeks Anticipatory bail for the alleged offence under Section 307 IPC in Crime No.52 of 2016.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is stated that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the defacto complainant. The allegation against the petitioner is that she attacked the defacto complainant and she sustained injury and she has taken treatment for 5 days and thereafter, discharged from the hospital.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already lodged a complaint against the defacto complainant and as counter blast, this complaint has been lodged against her and she is not responsible for the alleged injury sustained by defacto complainant and the petitioner is aged 58 and that therefore, he prayed for anticipatory bail.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the injured was discharged from the hospital.

6. Having regard to the nature of allegations against this petitioner and taking into account that the injured has already been discharged from the hospital and the petitioner is aged 58 and it is not stated that the petitioner's custodial interrogation is necessary, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions.

7 (i) Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of her arrest or appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpattu, within a period of fifteen days days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Magistrate. (ii) the petitioner shall report before the respondent as and when required for interrogation.
