ORDER
Heard Mr. Iyyakannu, learned counsel appearing for the Revision Petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.
2. Learned counsel for the Revision Petitioner submitted that the sole Revision Petitioner Mr.Saravanan died during the pendency of this Criminal Revision. Thus, he prayed that this Criminal Revision may be dismissed as abated.
3. Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) has also confirmed this fact on the instructions received from the concerned Police Station. He has also produced the death certificate dated 03.05.2024, in which, it has been clearly mentioned that the sole Revision Petitioner namely, Saravanan, Son of Duraisamy died on 21.02.2024. Thus, it was submitted by the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) that the present Criminal Revision may be abated.
4. The original death certificate is taken on record. 5.Accordingly, in view of the submissions made by the learned 2/4
counsel for the Revision Petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), who produced the death certificate, which is taken on record, this present Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as abated.
