ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2025 and to conduct a peace committee meeting regarding police protection during the Panguni Uthiram festival, scheduled from 25.03.2025 to 27.04.2025 and specifically on 25.03.2025 for the rally carrying the statue of Arulmigu Mangammal Mahalakshmi from Kathrimalai to Erode and its return to the Kathrimalai temple on 27.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 7 herein and conduct enquiry on the representation submitted

by the petitioner dated 27.02.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition petition is disposed of. No costs.
