Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct free and fair election to the Wakf "Vadacovai Ahlay Sunnath Jama-ath No.238, Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore - 641 043" with 1445 voters as per the Election notification dated 21.01.2019 of the 2nd respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2019 within the time frame.

Mr.Md.Aseef, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to conduct free and fair Election to the Wakf "Vadacovai Ahlay Sunnath Jama-ath No.238, Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore - 641 043" with 1445 voters as per the Election notification dated 21.01.2019 of the 2nd respondent by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
considering his representation dated 23.03.2019.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the Election notification was issued as early as on 21.01.2019, the Election has not been conducted in the subject matter Wakf so far. Therefore, the petitioner apprehends that the respondents will delay the Election.
4. The learned counsel for the respondents, who took notice for the respondents, submitted that the Election will be conducted as per schedule, since Election notification has already been issued on 21.01.2019.
5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to complete the Election process within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
