By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. It is stated by the petitioner that her husband was working as a Conductor in the service of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Salem) Ltd., and his Staff Number is CR 1071 and he died in harness on 25.10.2015. The petitioner has also obtained a legal heir certificate from the office of the Tahsildar, Mettur, stating that her husband left with she along with her daughter viz., Tmt.Ramya and her son viz., Mr.Pradeep Kumar and her mother-in-law are the legal heirs and therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

prays for sanction of contributory family pension and also for other terminal benefits due and payable by the respondents, in the form of representation dated 31.12.2015 and it was followed by a reminder dated 18.01.2017 and though the said representations have been received and acknowledged, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submission of Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Additional Advocate General, assisted by Mr.R.K.Gandhi, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
