This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to provide adequate protection to the petitioner's property in S.No.9/1, 9/3, 11/1, 11/3 at Koneripatty Village, Salem District by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 6/4/2022.

2. Heard Mr.V.Vijayakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner apprehending imminent danger at the hands of the fourth and fifth respondents to her life and property, petitioner's complaint has not been registered by the respondents 1 to 3, at the influence of the respondents 4 and 5.

4. When there is a serious dispute with regard to the title of the property, the issue has to be resolved before the Civil Court. However, when the petitioner is in possession of the property, the same cannot be disturbed by anyone. If any law and order problem arises, the Police shall act as per law, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
