ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 and 3 to conduct the election to the post of Chairman of Thurinjapuram panchayat union, Tiruvannamalai District within a reasonable period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in accordance with law, by providing adequate police protection and video coverage of entire process.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
3. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
