O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to take further action on petitioner's complaint dated 05.03.2025 to hold a preliminary enquiry into the allegations against the fourth and fifth respondents.

2.The petitioner sent a representation/complaint on 05.03.2025 to the first respondent, which was received by the first respondent on 06.03.2025 and thereafter no action was taken. Hence the above petition. 3.The contention of the petitioner is that the two wheeler of the petitioner's brother was taken by one Sakthi and Sabari on 05.06.2024 and they involved in an accident. The said Sakthi and Sabari paid a sum of Rs.10,000/- and promised to pay the balance amount for the damage caused Page No.2 of 6

to the vehicle, hence, the two wheeler repaired but the amount was not paid by them. It was informed that the amount of Rs.40,000/- was given to Paramesh, Ex-Panchayat President, the petitioner approached the said Paramesh on 25.02.2025 and requested the money, which was given by Sakthi and Sabari but the Paramesh, abused, threatened and chased her away. Further he claimed that he belongs to the ruling political party and nothing can be done to him. Despite the petitioner being a pregnant lady of 8 months she was abused and pushed down, thereafter, petitioner lodged a complaint to Karuppur Police Station, one Sathish, Sub Inspector of Police received the complaint but not acted on the petitioner's complaint for the reason Paramesh and others all belong to DMK political party presently in power.

The petitioner also made a complaint to Nawaz, Inspector of Police, Karuppur Police Station, though CSR number assigned, thereafter no action taken. The police personnels, who are public servant shielded the offenders against law for consideration, and it would amount to corrupt practice. Hence to take action against Nawaz, Inspector of Police and Sathish, Sub Inspector of Police, Karuppur Police Station, Paramesh, former Panchayat President and others, she sent a complaint to first respondent/Vigilance and Anti-corruption but so far no action taken.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint received by the petitioner, the complaint was forwarded to the Commissioner of Police, Salem City, since the Karuppur Police Station falls within Salem City. The petitioner was informed by a communication Petition No.3172/2025/POL/SL, dated 14.03.2025 on the same day that the petitioner's compliant forwarded to the Commissioner of Police, Salem City. The learned Government Advocate submits that now CSR No.84/2025 dated 26.02.2025 assigned on the petitioner's complaint and now F.I.R. in Crime No.124 of 2025 registered on 14.03.

2025 against Paramesh and his son Ajith for offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 351(2) of BNS and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998, investigation commenced and on completion of investigation final report would be filed in this case, preferably within a period of three months. 5.Today, the learned counsel for petitioner is served with the copy of F.I.R. and the petitioner to approach the Inspector of Police/Nawaz to give her statement, witnesses, who are acquainted with the facts and with supporting materials if any, to aid the investigation. to monitor the investigation, ensure final report filed without delay, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
