Writ Petition(Crl.) filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 10.01.2026 within the time frame as fixed by this Court in accordance with law.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 10.01.2026 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

On instruction, the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) submitted that on receipt of the aforementioned representation, the second respondent forwarded the same to the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai. 3.

In view of the above submission, the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai is directed to forthwith forward the said representation to the District Registrar, Perambalur and on receipt of the representation, the District Registrar, Perambalur is directed to conduct enquiry on the said representation, after issuance of notice to the petitioner as well as the counter parties and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, and to dispose of the said representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
